The Alghini Institute is actively seeking qualified reviewers from the Italian American studies academic community to provide independent editorial oversight. No reviewers or advisory board members have been confirmed as of this writing.

All content is authored and edited by Christopher Alghini (Founder) and held to our published Editorial Standards.
All material claims cite authoritative sources per our Source & Citation Policy.
Content has not been independently reviewed by a subject-matter expert (historian, demographer, or genealogist). Articles display “Review pending” where a qualified reviewer has not yet been engaged.
Reviewer Criteria
We are seeking reviewers who meet the following criteria:
- Advanced degree (MA or PhD) in Italian American studies, American history, demography, sociology, or a related field
- Published academic work related to Italian American history or culture
- Institutional affiliation with a university, research institute, museum, or recognized scholarly organization
- Willingness to have their name, credentials, and institutional affiliation publicly displayed
- Independence from the Institute's operations and fundraising
Our Commitment to Honesty
We do not invent advisory board members, fabricate credentials, or imply expert endorsement that does not exist. When a page displays “Reviewed by” attribution, it means a named, verifiable individual with documented qualifications has reviewed that specific content. Until that standard is met, we state clearly that review is pending.
Person schema markup (structured data identifying a reviewer to search engines) is added only when a reviewer's identity and credentials are publicly verifiable. We do not emit schema claims that do not match visible page content.
Advisory Board
