We use a contact form rather than publishing a raw email address to protect our team from automated scraping while keeping the corrections path open to all readers.
Review Timeline
We acknowledge receipt of correction requests within two business days.
Straightforward factual corrections (wrong date, incorrect statistic, misspelled name) are reviewed and published within one week.
Complex corrections that require additional research, source verification, or consultation with subject-matter experts are resolved within 30 days. If more time is needed, we notify the reporter.
Types of Corrections
Material Correction
A factual error that affects the meaning or reliability of the content. These update the article's dateModified, are noted in the revision history, and increment the content version.
Minor Correction
Typographical errors, broken links, formatting issues, or clarifications that do not change the substance. These are fixed without a formal correction notice unless they affected comprehension.
Removal
In rare cases where content cannot be corrected (e.g., based entirely on a retracted source), the article may be removed or replaced. Removed URLs return a 410 (Gone) status code explaining the reason.
Transparency
We do not silently alter published content. Material changes are documented with the date and a brief description of what changed. Articles display their publication date, last-modified date, and content version. Readers can compare versions by reviewing the revision note at the bottom of each article.
