What can a family name tell us? How do we know where a story comes from? Whose experiences help us understand this period?
Step 2
Choose an article or profile together. Find one supporting record or reference. Discuss what it shows and what it cannot establish.
Step 3
Ask a relative, neighbor, or group member about a memory connected to the topic. Respect their choice about recording or sharing.

Our opening corporate match applies to the opening donor’s gift. Your own employer determines whether and how it matches your contribution.
